Belcalis Almanzar better known as Cardi B has taken reality tv and the rap scene by storm. If you’re a heavy instagram user you probably already knew of Miss Almanzar who was considered “IG famous” at the time. Once she became part of the cast of ‘Love & Hip Hop NY’ the whole world came to know and fall in love with the regular degular schmegular girl from the Bronx.
Once she said she was an upcoming rapper I feel like we all yawned and rolled our eyes considering almost every cast member in the ‘Love & Hip Hop’ franchise is either an upcoming rapper or singer and end up releasing a terrible single or don’t end up releasing anything at all. But honey… Cardi B slapped the fuck outta us with her Gangsta Bitch Vol. 1 AND 2 mixtapes.
She recently posed and did an interview with the Fader magazine and it really sunk in, Cardi is really going to become the rapstar that she was destined to be. I am rooting so hard for this girl and she doesn’t even know I exist.
Not only can this bitch do anything under the sun, she also reminds me to always chase your dreams and look good while doing it.
